Gwendolyn Muir (Osborne)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 in her 91st year. Devoted wife of the late Robert Muir (1996) for 46 years. Dear loving mother of the late Robert Charles (2010) (Roslyn), Gail (Brian Stainton), Heather, Linda Jeffreys (Fred Brown) and Scott (Karen). Cherished Gram to her 18 grandchildren; Jason Jeffreys (Tonya), Sherri Jeffreys, Melissa Jeffreys (Ryan Bourassa), Amanda Millson (Adam), Emily (Jennifer McCall), Matthew (Tancy), Erin Robertson (Tom), Laura Burns (Paul), Kathryn, Cody and Jake, and her 15 great-grandchildren; Riley, Madelyn, Kaycee, Hayden, Madison, Ethan, Travis, Ella, Cole, Abigayle, Rachel, Brayden, Chase, Nolan and Abigail. Predeceased by her brothers Murray, George, Raymond and Ron Osborne. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Jean, Jeanne, Rae and Lois Osborne and Mildred Muir. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Waterloo Wellington CCAC, Care Partners, and Wellington Terrace LTC in Fergus for the love and care they provided for our mother. Visitation will be held at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville (905-623 5480) on Monday, October 16th, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Service in the chapel on Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wellington Terrace LTC in Fergus, Bowmanville Hospital Foundation or Ebenezer United Church.
